The sun shone over Thundersley Common as the Club celebrated its 50th anniversary in style.

Formed in 1963 by Keith Walker - who travelled all the way from Norfolk to be with us on the day - Thundersley Rovers celebrated its 50th birthday with five-a-side competitions for both our Junior and Senior teams, lots of inflatables for the kids and a barbeque.

Winners on the day were Steve Higgins' Under 10s in the Junior section and Dean Shamshoum's Saturday squad in the Senior section; Higgins picking up the Keith Walker Trophy and Shamshoum the Ray Howlett Trophy.
