Thundersley Rovers are delighted to officially unveil their 2012/13 home strip for our junior and Sunday senior teams.

Earlier this summer - and a year ahead of our 50th birthday - we were thrilled to welcome our first junior side for several years back into the fold, with Ryan Scott-Douglas' under-10s joining the Rovers stable in time for next season.

Now, for the first time, we can reveal the brand new home kit that both the boys team and Nigel Purkis' Sunday team will be wearing during the forthcoming campaign.

Based upon the traditional strip as worn by all Thundersley Rovers teams since our formation back in 1963, this year's famous black and white striped shirt is provided by leading manufacturer Nike.

In keeping with the club's traditional look and feel, the shirt is accompanied by plain black shorts and varsity red stockings - as worn by all Thundersley Rovers teams up until the mid-1990s and in keeping with our established club colours.

That traditional theme is maintained with a return to a plain green goalkeeper's jersey, the most common colour goalkeeper's shirt in the history of football. Our number ones will also wear black shorts, with green socks to match their jerseys.

Our remaining team - Dean Shamshoum's Saturday senior side - will be receiving a brand new kit next season (2013/14), but their existing kit will be enhanced for the 2012/13 campaign by a set of varsity red stockings.
