The full list of teams currently scheduled to represent TRSC in the forthcoming 2018/19 season can now be confirmed.

Based at our traditional Thundersley Common home plus one new venue, no less than 12 squads will don the famous black and white stripes next season, including four new additions to Rovers' 2017/18 roster.

Whilst Ben Harringley & Colin Roberts' Under 8s Reds enjoyed a taste of (friendly) action towards the end of last season - having began recruitment during the winter months - starting completely afresh are our Under 8s Whites, managed jointly by Lee O'Dell & Tim Hardwicke, and Under 7s.

Our youngest team at present, the Under 7s are managed by James Gates who moves from his previous role as Assistant Manager with the Under 11s Whites; an experience which will no doubt stand James in good stead for fresh challenges ahead.

WE'RE GOING TO NEED A BIGGER GOAL: Senior football returns to Rovers

Perhaps most significant however is the welcome return to Senior action at Thundersley Rovers for the forthcoming campaign, following five seasons in which the Club has concentrated solely on re-establishing its position as a major contributor to local Academy football.

Additionally, TRSC is delighted that its return to adult football will be with Rovers' first ever Ladies team, who are managed by Steve Hillis. The squad, whose members are all local to the district, will be featuring in Division 2 of the Essex County Women's Football League in the forthcoming season.

Also new to management at TRSC - although not entirely new to the rigours of coaching - is Scott Petty, who takes up the Under 11s Reds' managerial reins this season, following the departure of former coach Nick Elmy.

Although there will inevitably be some additional signings, we are pleased that the majority of last season's Under 10s squad has opted to remain with the Club, thus ensuring that wholesale changes are not a necessity as can sometimes be the case in such circumstances.

The Club would like to take this opportunity to extend a warm welcome to Scott and all of our new coaches, players and their families as we look forward to what we hope will prove to be both an enjoyable and successful season together.

We also look forward to welcoming our existing teams and players back to the fold following what has already been a blisteringly-hot summer - and we hope you've all had an opportunity to enjoy at least some of the excellent weather!

Finally, in addition to Nick Elmy, Michael Brin and last season's Under 7s Whites have similarly departed for pastures new. The Club would like to place on record its thanks for their service and wish all the best of luck at their new clubs.

The list of (12) squads representing Thundersley Rovers Sports Club for the 2018/19 season, and their respective coaches, are as follows. Further details of each team may be found via the 'Team Pages' menu at the top of the page.
