Two minutes' silence was impeccably observed this morning as we paused to mark Remembrace Sunday.

Whilst some of this morning's matches began with two minutes' silence, others paused at exactly 11am to hold theirs in memory of those who fought in the two World Wars and later conflicts.

Meanwhile two of our Academy teams playing at Thundersley Common this morning - our Under 10s (see above) and Under 8s Reds (see below) - changed from our regular black and white striped kit to our alternative 'poppy red' strip, in order to mark the occasion.

Pausing for thought: Rovers' Under 11s Whites paused for reflection at exactly 11am during the second half of their away match at Runwell Boys

Even our youngest squad - James Gates' Under 7s - observed the silence prior to their match

All change: our Under 8s, managed by Ben Harringley adopted our 'poppy red' alternative strip for the day
